About me

I’m a music critic at Sweden’s biggest newspaper Dagens Nyheter and a freelance journalist in the field of culture (mainly global soul, hiphop och cinema). I’m also a video curator for the urban video magazine Stocktown and in 2011 debuted as radio presenter on Sweden’s National Radio (SR) show Kalejdoskop –a year I also spent predicting hits on a regular basis in SR programme P3 Populär.

Previously I’ve worked as Concert and Club Editor at DN På stan, Film Editor at Odd at Large and Clear Skies and jury member at the Swedish National Radio’s competition P3 Guld and Sweden’s main independent music award: Manifestgalan (in the two categories of hiphop/soul and jazz).

Along with being a Swedish-Hawaiian souloholic and devoted Brazilophile I’m a big fan of syncopated music, Owen Wilson and 80’s classic sci-fi series ‘V’.

I’m always open for international freelance work offers and I also translate from French and English to Swedish.
